Government Engagement and Economic Growth

ExEx has the potential to contribute to UK economic growth by returning underused expertise to productive activity, helping smaller businesses overcome capability gaps, supporting entrepreneurship and preserving viable businesses through succession and knowledge transfer.

Following launch, and once sufficient operating evidence is available, ExEx intends to seek structured engagement with government, regional authorities and relevant economic-development bodies.

The objective would not be to seek preferential endorsement of a private company. It would be to explore an independently evaluated regional or sector pilot capable of measuring the additional commercial activity, earned income, business growth, employment, knowledge transfer and community value enabled through ExEx.

If the evidence supports the proposition, ExEx could complement government policy relating to small-business growth, economic inactivity, skills, the future of work and regional development.

A separate ExEx Economic Growth Proposition for Government describes the proposed pilot, evaluation measures and route to government engagement is available on request.
